Hi! I’m Chelsey Speer. I enjoy teaching all skill levels and ages, and I love seeing how excited kids get when they learn new things. Each year, every class of students is a little different, and I like the challenge of coming up with new ways to meet their needs. I know that we're going to have a lot of fun as we learn together.
I grew up in the Kent/Auburn area, and I love calling this area home. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Special Education, I began my teaching career at a local private pre-school. I then taught four years as a special education preschool teacher in the Auburn School District. My classes included a near even mix of general education students and students with special needs. In 2018, I decided to branch out and start a preschool of my own. It has been a truly rewarding experience to be able to teach in a small personal setting and really get to know my students and their families.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Our monthly class calendar will show holidays and other days off. For the most part, we follow the Federal Way School District calendar.
Most communication and scheduling will be done through Bloomz, a secure social media platform for teachers and parents that keeps class information and pictures private.
For the 2022-2023 school year, annual (September-June) tuition is $1,800 which is split into $180 per month. Payment is due by the first class of each month. On the last class of each month, an envelope will be placed in your child’s folder with the payment amount due. If payment is not returned by the first class of the month, $10 will be added to your cost each day the payment is not made. If payment is not made within two weeks, your child will not be able to return to class until payment is made.
Please register one child at a time. If you would like to register more than one child, please click the "Register additional child" button after submitting each registration. Parent information will then be auto-filled for convenience.
